About NoBakwas.com
NoBakwas.com is an independent short story site publishing original fiction in Hindi and English — tales of courage, love, real life, and the quiet dramas that happen between people every day.
The name is a promise: No Bakwas — no filler, no padding, no content for the sake of content. Every story here earns its place.
Who Writes Here
DDhan Sahu is an IT professional based in India, writing fiction as a second vocation. He grew up around village life, joint families, and the kind of everyday human drama that rarely makes it into mainstream publishing — so he decided to write it himself.
His stories draw from real emotions, real places, and real people — fictionalised with care. He writes in both Hindi and English, depending on which language the story demands.

Originality and Editorial Policy
Every story on this site is original work. NoBakwas does not publish AI-generated prose — all written content is authored by DDhan Sahu.
Some stories in the thriller and comic series are accompanied by illustrated panels. These panels are generated with AI image tools and are disclosed as such. The stories themselves, the dialogue, the characters, and the narrative decisions are human-written.
We do not republish, scrape, or paraphrase content from other sources. If you believe any content here infringes on something you own, contact us directly at ddhansahu@gmail.com.
Why This Site Exists
Most short fiction platforms are either algorithm-driven or paywalled. NoBakwas exists to be neither — it is a direct channel between a writer and readers who want good stories without friction.
There are no mandatory sign-ups, no newsletter popups, and no engagement bait. Just stories.
