Mumbai: Rakhi Sawant withdraws plea to quash the FIR filed against her- The latest buzz is that Rakhi Sawant who is presently hosting “Rakhi ki Insaaf” on NDTV Imagine has withdrawn her plea to quash the FIR filed against her for allegedly humiliating one of the participants named Laxman Singh Aharwar in the show which forced him to commit suicide.

Rakhi Sawant accompanied by four other media persons, 3 from Jhansi and one from Lucknow has moved to the court to close the case filed against them.

Satish Maneshinde, Rakhi’s lawyer told the division bench of Justice A M Khanwilkar and Justice A P Bhangale, “We apprehend arrest at the hands of the Jhansi police.”

He said further, “According to our information, a team from Jhansi has already left for making the arrests.”

He said, “Thus we seek protection from the court or an interim relief that no coercive action should be taken against these five until this petition is pending before the court.”

Mumbai: Guzaarish Box Office Report- Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much awaited film “Guzaarish” starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has hit theatres today.

The film has rocked at the box office. It has been well received by the audiences and has received good reviews from critics. Critics were full of praises for both Hrithik and Ash.

Renowned film critic Taran Adarsh stated “Hrithik and Aishwarya are seen in a lackluster facade and that’s what makes the characters so plausible.”

He added “Guzaarish is special in more ways than one. In my individualistic opinion, it easily ranks amongst Bhansali’s best works so far. Just don’t miss this one!”

“Guzaarish has been magnificently shot. The indoors as well as outdoors add so much to the film. There’s no refuting that cinematographer Sudeep K. Chatterjee has created some really alluring and enthralling visuals.”

Apart from the lead actors Hrithik and Ash, actors like Aditya Roy Kapoor, Monikangana Dutta, Rajit Kapoor and Shernaz Patel also play vital roles in the film.

Ash has been associated with L’Oreal for years now and continues to be its face. L’Oreal then chose Sonam Kapoor as their fresh new face for their fairness product.

At the Cannes Film Festival, Ash stated how much she loves visiting Cannes every year and the importance of having a cosmetic brand on which she can count on when she travels and works in different climates and in different countries.

Ash has recently shot for a new TV commercial for L’Oreal’s “Total Repair 5”.

Mumbai: Kats and Akki in a spat during the music launch of Tees Maar Khan- The latest buzz in tinsel town is that Kats and Akki had a spat this Sunday during the music launch event of their upcoming flick “Tees Maar Khan”.

An eyewitness stated “They were to do joint interviews together for the media, but every five minutes Katrina would run off to touch up her make up and hair.”

A close friend of Katrina stated “It wasn’t just the hair and make-up. Poor Kat was shivering because the AC in the compartment was turned up.”

He said further, “She had gone to fetch her shawl/jacket from her compartment which was right at the end.”

Akshay fired Katrina for no fault of hers. The matter was sort out soon.

Mumbai: Aishwarya to appear in a new light in Guzaarish- Aishwarya states “Audiences will find a new Aishwarya in Guzzarish… It’s a different role I have played altogether in this movie. And it’s really a special role for me.”

“Guzaarish” is Aishwarya’s third film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The duo has earlier worked together in “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam” and “Devdas”.

She stated that her character in “Guzaarish” is a complete departure from Nandini and Paro. In the film she plays the role of Hrithik’s nurse, called Sophie.

Ash added “You will discover me as a nurse with a very serious personality. This serious personality is because of a past story of mine in the film.”

She said further, “You will see how a nurse also lives a life of a quadriplegic in this film. That makes the character special for me. This is all I will say right now.”

The film is slated to hit theatres on 19th November.

Mumbai: Pamela Anderson lands in Mumbai amid media frenzy- Pamela Anderson arrived in Mumbai at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport late on Monday.

She has traveled all the way from Los Angeles to be a guest on reality show “Bigg Boss 4” aired on Colors. She was seen wearing a grey top and jeans with her blonde hair open.

She reached Mumbai 2 hours later than the scheduled time of her arrival. Despite raining, she was surrounded by numerous media persons.

The scenario went out of control as soon as she moved out of the airport. A scuffle also broke out between a policeman and photographer.

Pamela will enter the Bigg Boss house in Lonavala this Tuesday morning.
