Mumbai: I have no intent to turn producer, says Kareena Kapoor- Kareena Kapoor comes from a family that has been in the business of making films for the past 75 years now.

But at present Kareena has no plans of becoming a producer as right now she wants to solely focus on her acting career.

Kareena states “No ways, I have no intent to turn producer. That’s like getting into a different world altogether and I am certainly not on for that.”

She laughs “I am here just to act. Pehle woh toh kar loon!”

Kareena added “When there are so many exciting assignments for me as an actor, why should I be delving into anything different right now.”

“I just have to keep moving on.” In her upcoming films, she will be seen opposite Imran Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan.

Mumbai: Kareena meets Soni Ericcson’s winner- Kareena Kapoor has met the 24 year old Rishi Nandrajog, who won the title of “Shopping with Kareena”, a campaign organized by Sony Ericcson.

The winner of this contest was given a gift voucher of shopping spree worth Rs 5 lakhs with Kareena Kapoor and the company’s brand ambassador.

An elated Rishi stated “I am a regular user of Sony Ericsson phones; in fact my last three phones have also been from this brand. The great user interface and the quality of features that are built in the Sony Ericsson devices make me a brand loyalist.”

He said further, “Shopping with Kareena was unreal, an absolute adrenaline-rush. Now I will wear clothes that the style guru herself recommended.”

Kareena added “I am a die-hard shopaholic myself and I absolutely jumped at the idea of this campaign.”

She said further, “I always seek ways to connect with my fans and understand their perception about me and the contest actually served as a perfect platform to achieve that.”

Kareena Kapoor’s busy schedules with the movies in hand held Madhur Bhandarkar, the director who is known for his sensitively made realistic films, in suspension for a brief period. But, the lack of enough time with the producers of the offered film ‘Heroine’ forced Madhur Bhandarkar to switch over to beauty queen Aishwarya Rai.

Kareena Kapoor  is reportedly, eager to do the film but incapable of coping with her eventful agenda. Truth is that Madhur stated that he never had a dialogue with Aishwarya Rai in link with his film to be made. On the other hand Aishwarya Rai’s acquaintances say that the latter wouldn’t like to be an substitute option.

A suspense drama helmed by Reema Kagti. But people, we tell u that the movie which is already in media is giving hard time to casting directors because Bollywood leading names amongst female actress are being considered for the venture.According to quite placed sources it’s a hard fight between two women Aishwarya and the topper of Bollywood power list Kareena Kapoor.

Initially it was Kareena Kapoor but now we hear that Aishwarya has also emerged as a really serious and a powerful competitor for the role opposite Aamir.Well, it will be interesting to see who wins the fight and grabs the movie under her lovely kitty.

Anyhow, some sections in the industry are also speculating that Aamir might consider having both as his actresses as we have said before that this suspense crisis has a scope for two actresses.

As per the script the film requires 2 heroines. One is Kareena and the second is yet to be finalized.

The film will be directed by Reema Kagti and co-produced by Aamir Khan Productions and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment along with Ritesh Sidhwani.

Reema Kagti has earlier worked as an assistant with Ashutosh Gowariker’s “Lagaan”. “Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd” was her full-fledged starter.

Confirming the news, Aamir Khan stated “I’ve said yes to Reema’s film. I’m really excited and hope to start shooting in February.”

Mumbai: Kareena Kapoor roped in to play the lead opposite to Aamir Khan: The latest buzz in tinsel ville these days is that Kareena Kapoor has been roped in to play the lead lady opposite Aamir Khan in Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming flick.

The duo had earlier worked together in the blockbuster film “3 Idiots”. Deepika Padukone was a strong contender for this role.

An insider revealed “It’s a two-heroine film. Aamir was keen to repeat his 3 Idiots leading lady.”

Farhan and Riteish wanted Deepika for the role as they have earlier worked together in “Karthik Caling Karthik” but later they have decided to cast Bebo.

The insider also revealed that Katrina Kaif has been offered to play the role of the second female. The film will be a suspense drama which is slated to hit theatres on February 2011.
