Mumbai: Salman Khan has a heart of gold. He is well known for his helping nature. Recently he gave a wonderful offer to Vidhi Kasliwal, niece of filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya.

Vidhi recently made her directorial debut with “Isi Life Mein” in which Salman made a special appearance. Salman told Sooraj that he will be present during the promotion of the film.

He even stated that Vidhi should think of becoming an actress and if in the future she plans to do so, he will be glad to be her on-screen hero.

An insider stated “When Salman was shooting for his cameo; he was surprised to see that Vidhi opted to be behind the camera, rather than be in front of it. He felt Sooraj’s niece had the looks to be in the movies, rather than be a director.”

Vidhi stated, “That was Salman’s way of making me comfortable on the sets when he came to shoot! I was so nervous directing him in my first film especially because Sooraj maama and Salman share such a great rapport.”

Mumbai: K S Ravikumar’s “Manmadhan Ambu” is all set to hit theatres this Friday. The film stars Kamal Hassan, Trisha Krishnan, R Madhavan and Sangeetha Krish in the lead roles.

Ramesh and Kamal will pair up for the ninth time in this film. With respect to his role in the film Ramesh states “I must say that the film has the most-expected combination that everyone looks forward to.”

He said further, “As far as my role is concerned, it’s not lengthy but crucial to the film’s plot. Whoever has seen it, says that it has quite an impact and yes, it was pretty tough essaying it too.”

He cheerfully states “Oh yes, that’s what people have been talking about. Kamal is a really good friend of mine and has been an inspiration for me throughout.”

He said further, “Since we share great comfort levels, we know each other’s strengths and work accordingly. He advises me on experimenting with new roles and has been a constant pillar of support.”

While buying onions along with two Santas, he stated “Common man will be much happier getting onions as gifts as the skyrocketing price of the vegetable has made it unaffordable for public.”

He appealed to all Santa Claus’ to hide onions in ladies purses to spread happiness this Christmas.

Mumbai: When Shah Rukh Khan was depressed! The 45 year old Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan had gone into a depression mode but is presently out of it.

He stated “I feel so much healthy and refreshed from within — due to the injury and the suffering I had got into a depression mode but now I am out of it. I feel happy and boosted with energy.”

Shah Rukh underwent a surgery last year as he tore a ligament in his shoulder during his shooting in 2008.

He added “I am a different person in my films; I am very vocal and expressive in them, but in my personal life I am a very weird person. I face difficulty when I have to express my innermost feelings. I am very shy, quiet and reclusive as an individual.”

“It is not something I am proud of but I lack in the art of expressing my love, my friendship, my anger, my apologies, which people misinterpret at times.

“I am always compared; that is a part of my life. A newcomer comes I am compared; anybody does a film which is a bigger hit, I am compared; anybody does a lesser film, still I am compared. So comparisons don’t bother me now.”

He is once again making a come back in the small screen with “Zor Ka Jhatka” on Imagine TV.

Mumbai: New Year’s Eve messages have become obsolete with Friendship Day and Valentine’s Day SMSes gaining more popularity.

As per a survey conducted by Airtel Mobitude 2010, it was found that it was Diwali messages that gained maximum popularity in 2010 followed by Dusshera and Friendship Day.

A maximum number of 12 million messages were sent this year on the occasion of Diwali. Last year it was New Year messages that were at the top.

He recently learned gymnastics to include some awe-inspiring stunts and steps for a dance number in his upcoming film “Ra One”.

Shah Rukh Khan was last seen putting so much effort during the shooting of a song “Chaiyan Chaiyan” for Mani Ratnam’s “Dil Se” in which he was seen shaking legs with Malaika Arora on a moving train.

Buzz is in the air that 200 firang beauties have been hired for the shooting of the special song for “Ra One”.

A source stated “SRK will show the world that his injury and persistent back problems are a thing of the past. He has learnt gymnastics for the song and will also do trapeze stunts.”
